I don't know if I'm the only one out there who is truly upset that Martha Stewart Everyday is no longer being sold at KMart????? But I am very sad. I am most upset about not having her gorgeous wrapping paper this Christmas :( but I did stock up after the holiday last year. I am also sad because I loved her cookware items. I know Macy carries her line but it's not as cheap as KMart's prices.
I haven't been to KMart in about two months and I went with my mom today because she likes it better than WalMart and look what I found..
I got all four for $10. Full price would have been around $32. So YAY! There were many more items to choose from but I wanted these for my hope chest to replace my cheap ones that I had in college. Most items were on clearance for $3 some $4 and lowest were at $1.50. The bar ware was also on clearance and other random gadgets like a zester and garlic press were also on clearance. These would be great in a house warming basket for a friend or treat yourself to some new quality utensils!
Oh and did I mention I love Martha?

lovin the cheapness
I have been super busy lately! I started a seasonal job at Victoria's Secret last week and I have been helping my family with my niece a lot.
Just a heads up for anyone who would want a little extra cash over the holiday and a good discount. VS is the place to be. I get 30% whatever and they have great bargains for employees. For example, all new employees (including seasonal) get one free bra in black (any price!) and can get 10 panties (any kind) for $25. I added up my cost before discount = $150. I can also get their new seasonal beauty products (lotions, body washes) for $2 each (good presents? I think so!). There are also programs that come around where you do a 30 minute training on a new product and then you get it free! I am doing one next week and getting my choice of 1 their top 10 bras for free! weee how fun! And they are just so happy there you can't help but love the environment!
But now on to my real post.....
I have been on a halt on buying things because I've been waiting on a paycheck but tonight I went to CVS and got a realllllllly good bargain that I couldn't pass up.
I know it's not a lot.....

Fun at Target and Harris Teeter
I got a really great deal on Scrubbing Bubbles today at Target. I loooooove Scrubbing Bubbles so this made me ecstatic! If i could get another Target ad from the Sunday paper I'd do the deal again!
Retail $10.16. I paid $1.16. Let's break it down:
4 cans at $2.54 (sale price at Target) = $10.16
use 2 $2 off 2 cans peeler coupon on the cans at Target = $6.16
use the Target coupon for a $5 gift card in the Sunday 11/01/09 = $1.16
Retail $36.93. I paid $10.51 for two tees and a pair of pants for my niece to wear next year, cute candy dish and two matching dish towels, and of course two bags of peanut M&M's. The candy was 50% off and I had a $1 off coupon but everything else was 75%.
Don't worry I am going tomorrow to the other Target in Greensboro to see if they have another matching candy dish!
Retail: $32.29. I paid $8.72. YAY! Harris Teeter is having triple coupons this week and some good sales particularly on the pasta, juice, and muffins! :)

Towel Folding
I love towels. The best way to start my day is to dry off in a nice plush towel. It is also wonderful to have beautiful folded towels in a linen closet or shelf in the bathroom. Here are two ways to fold towels to make them beautiful.
Option 1
Fold the towel in half lengthwise.
Fold in half width-wise making sure to leave about an inch of space from the edge.
Leaving the space will create an even edge when folded again.
Fold in half width wise again. This option is a great space saver.
Option 2
Fold towel into thirds
fold in half leaving an inch of space from the edge.
Fold in half again. This option is thicker but is nice if you prefer not to see the edges of the towel.
I am currently cleaning out the linen closet. I will post pictures once it is complete!
